I just watched this inspirational video. This is such an important message for our time!
I identify so strongly with what Kathryn Budig talks about here. I have a great healthy diet and exercise regularly AND I (ashamedly) spend stupid amounts of time concerning myself with bits of my body that stick out in places I’d prefer they didn’t.
Kathryn Budig talks body loving and shaming

I’ve realised lately that as a so-called ‘female’ that identifies as somewhere on the spectrum between male and female, when I look in the mirror I’m expecting a toned, male-like figure to reflect back at me. It took me years (and a few supportive partners) to be feel good about being the owner of breasts. The body-loving, girl-power option of being a voluptuous, curvy woman never fit for me, because ‘guys’ don’t really have that ‘celebrate-your-curves’ option. What is the male version of the ‘renaissance, curvy, soul woman’?
